Refund and Cancellation Policy

Marcado is a monthly subscription service with no minimum term. This policy describes how to cancel and when refunds apply.
1. Subscription cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account area or by emailing [email protected].
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current monthly cycle. You retain access until that date and there is no further charge.
2. Right of withdrawal (consumers)
If you subscribe as a consumer (personal use, outside your professional activity), you have 14 days to withdraw from the contract without penalty, under Portuguese Decree-Law 24/2014.
To exercise this right, communicate your decision by email to [email protected] within the deadline. If you have already started using the service, we may deduct the proportional value of usage.
3. Refunds
Partial-period refunds are not issued when you cancel mid-cycle — you retain access until the end of that month.
If there is a clear error on our side (duplicate charge, serious service failure attributable to Marcado), we will refund the affected amount in full within 14 days.
4. How to request a refund
Email [email protected] with the subject "Refund" and the reason. We reply within 5 working days.
Refunds are processed via Stripe to the original payment method.
5. Alternative dispute resolution
In the event of a dispute, consumers may use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/odr) or the Portuguese National Consumer Arbitration Centre (CNIACC, arbitragemdeconsumo.org).
