### How long does setup take?

Most PTs are up and running in less than 15 minutes — connect your WhatsApp Business number (2 min), set session types, schedules and cancellation rules (10 min), then share your marcado.pt/your-name link (1 min). No developers, no manuals.

### How is Marcado different from Calendly or Acuity?

Calendly needs your clients to open a link, pick a slot, and fill in a form. Marcado lives inside WhatsApp — they message you like they always have, and the assistant handles the booking right there. No installs, no external pages, no friction.

### Do my clients need to download an app or create an account?

Never. They talk to the assistant directly on the WhatsApp they already have. No account, no password, no friction. Returning clients are recognised by their number and book another session in seconds.

### Can I migrate from another booking tool?

Yes — we import from TrainerSpace, Trainerize, Glofox, and CSV from anywhere else. Most PTs are fully migrated in an afternoon, with their entire client history intact.

### What happens to my data if I cancel?

It's yours. You can export your full client list, history and revenue records as CSV at any time, even after cancellation. We delete everything from our servers within 30 days of account closure, no questions asked.

### Is Marcado available outside Portugal?

For now we're focused on Portugal — that's where we're building with our founding partners. Spain and Brazil are on the roadmap for late 2026, with full support for euros, reais and Stripe.

### How does the bot handle cancellations and reschedules?

The client sends a message and the bot handles everything — confirms the cancellation, offers new slots, updates your schedule and frees up the slot for new bookings. You set the rules (how many hours in advance they can cancel) and the bot enforces them.
